On December 11th 2014, Project visits Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) in Hai Duong. Mr. Tran Viet Cuong – Deputy Director, DOLISA and representatives of 5 TVET institutions show their warm welcome to Project working group.
Taking this oppoturnity, DOLISA invites leaders from 5 TVET institutions to join the meeting, including: Vinh Phuc Vocational College, Viet – Xo Vocational College, Vocational College of Agricultural Mechanics, No.2 Vocational College - Ministry of Defence, No.11 Vocational secondary school – Ministry of Defence.
This visit is one of Output 2 activities and aims to promote the TOT courses in the year of 2015.
On behalf of Project working group, Dr.Ha Xuan Quang – HaUI’s Vice Rector gives an introduction on project’s activities, with the emphasis on TOT program based on Japanese model.
In the year of 2014, Project conducted 2 rounds of TOT courses for 3 fields including Machining, Electronics and Electricity, 2 courses each field. These courses were designed as the result of last year survey on vocational trainers’ capacity and industrial needs.
In next year, Project plans to hold 10 TOT courses, including 3 new courses of each field and 1 new course on training management.
Mr. Tran Viet Cuong highly appreciates activities implemented by Project and expresses a desire to have more fruitful co-operation with Project as well as HaUI.
Representatives from TVET institutions fully agree that TOT courses keep important role for vocational trainers to upgrade and update skill, knowledge in order to meet industrial demand. They also engage will collaborate with Project to conduct TOT courses for vocational in Vinh Phuc Province in the year of 2015.
