Students of Hanoi University of Industry achieved high results at the 31st Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad

Attending the contest, students of Hanoi University of Industry continued to affirm its position of being in the top of the teams with outstanding achievements.

The student team of Hanoi University of Industry excellently won 01 Championship, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, 05 Consolation Prizes at the 31st Vietnamese Student Informatics Olympiad (OLP), Procon and the 2022 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia took place in Ho Chi Minh City from December 6 to 9, 2022.

Participating in the contest, Hanoi University of Industry had 13 students competing in 6 topics: Individual Super Cup (02 students), Individual Specialist in Informatics (03 students), Individual Olympiad Non-specialist (03 students), Procon Vietnam (02 teams, each team consists of 03 members), ICPC international student programming (04 teams, 03 specialized teams, 01 non-specialist team), Open Source Software (01 team includes 03 students).

With the dedicated guidance of teachers along with talent, solidarity and high determination, students of Hanoi University of Industry have excelled and achieved impressive achievements. More specifically, the Procon Vietnam championship belonged to the HaUI.MiuXinhhh team.

- 01 Third Prize Procon: HaUI.ThreeAmigos team (Nguyen Van Vu, Class DHKHMT01 K15, Truong Anh Hieu, Class 2021DHCNTT02 K16, Le Xuan Thinh, Class 2021DHKTPM01 K16).

With these achievements, the programming ability of Hanoi University of Industry students once again affirms the qualifications, prestige, influence and training quality of Hanoi University of Industry - a leading university of applied sciences in Vietnam; contributing to providing high quality human resources for domestic and international markets.

This is a prestigious playground jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Informatics Association and the Vietnam Student Association. This year’s contest was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education; attracted hundreds of students from more than 70 universities, colleges and students nationwide to participate. Among those, there were more than 500 students participating in the Olympiad in Informatics for specialists and non-specialists; 396 students participated in the ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest Asia with 7 teams from Singapore (21 students).
