The final round of Let's Go 2023

On the evening of December 5th, the six outstanding teams gathered to compete in the final round of Let's Go 2023. Ultimately, the team from Foreign Trade University clinched the championship of the competition.

Let's Go 2023 serves as a platform for providing opportunities for students to enhance their language skills, debating their abilities. The competition, jointly organized by HaUI’s Youth Union and School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (under Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI)), attracted significant attention and participation from a large number of HaUI’s students and the other universities’ in Hanoi.

Delegates attended the finale of Let's Go 2023

During the final night, six teams from various universities, including Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi Open University, Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, and Hanoi University of Industry, participated in four segments of competition: Introduction, Knowledge, Teamwork, and Debate.

Demonstrating excellence in the competition with fluent English speaking, deep knowledge, and confident debating skills with sharp and persuasive arguments, the team from Foreign Trade University secured the First Prize. The host team from Hanoi University of Industry and Hanoi University of Science and Technology achieved the Second Prize, while the Third Prize went to Hanoi Open University, Hanoi National University of Education, and National Economics University.

Dr. Tran Ngoc Duc, Vice Principal of School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, and Dr. Do Thi Huyen Thanh, Dean of English Language Faculty at School of Foreign Languages and Tourism - HaUI, presented the Third Prize to the teams from Hanoi Open University, Hanoi National University of Education, and National Economics University

A representative from the judging panel mentioned that this year's Let's Go 2023 had various vibrant elements, featuring innovations in different competition segments. It provided an opportunity for the six participating teams to showcase their individuality, knowledge, and confidence. Each team had its strengths, and those present in tonight's final were all outstanding teams.

Nguyen Vu Lam, a second-year student majoring in International Economics at Foreign Trade University, enthusiastically shared: "It's my first time at Hanoi University of Industry, and also my first time participating in the competition. I feel very happy; this is truly a beneficial playground for students, providing a chance to express our love for English through engaging competition segments.
