Training in Union & Association’s work of 2022

On December 16 and 17, the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Industry organized a training course to foster skills and expertise in Union and Association’s work in 2022 for more than 600 union members within the university.

Attending the training session, there were Comrade Do Nhu Quynh, Deputy Head of Legal Dissemination and Education Department, Hanoi Department of Justice; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Xuan, Member of the Youth Union Committee, Deputy Head of the Organization and Inspection Committee of the Youth Union; Comrade Do Minh Hien, Member of the Youth Union Committee, Secretary of the HaUI’s Youth Union; together with representatives of units, union members and students of Hanoi University of Industry.

In the work of building the Youth Union, MSc. Pham Hoang Hai, Lecturer at the Faculty of Youth Affairs, Vietnam Youth Academy emphasized 3 important tasks including union members, officials, grassroots organizations. In addition, in order for the Union - Association work to be truly strong, each member needs to be equipped with knowledge, expertise, skills, practical methods of operation to meet the requirements and tasks well. Since then, the quality of the Union's work will be improved, there will be many positive changes, and many important and comprehensive results will be achieved.

At the training session, MSc. Pham Hoang Hai trained union members in skills and working methods such as leadership skills; management skills; organizational skills, word processing skills according to the format of the Youth Union - Student Union; skills in presentation and implementation of missionary work; skills of gathering masses, orienting public opinion, ....

The content of the training session was built based on the survey of actual needs and practicality, meeting the requirements of the Union's work in the new era. In general, over the years, the Hanoi University of Industry's Union has always focused on the organization and construction of the Union, especially training and fostering of elite union members - the effective arm of the Party. By many creative and effective ways of doing things, the quality of the University’s Union members has been increasingly improved, contributing to the building and development of a stronger and more developed Union.

Within the framework of the training session, the Youth Union held a conference to propagate and disseminate legal education on the Law on Gender Equality and Prevention of Domestic Violence, led by MSc Mai Bich Ngan who was the speaker of the theme "Gender equality and the things we need to care about.”

This is an annual activity of the Youth Union – Students’ Association of Hanoi University of Industry in order to equip and foster knowledge, expertise, skills, working methods for the Union’s members. At the same time, it is an opportunity for students to discuss or share experiences and good practices, and practical solutions, thereby promoting the union movement, making the Hanoi University of Industry's Union a destination of wisdom and enthusiasm of youth.
