On 3/8/2017, the University held an appraisal and approval meeting for the 2016 university level research study titled “Development of NH3 sensitive censors using metal nanoparticle-covered tubes on aluminum support” led by MSc Duong Vu Truong - Faculty of Fundamental Sciences.

The research objective is to develop NH3 sensitive censors using nanocarbon metal nanoparticle-covered tubes on aluminum support. By studying the sensitivity mechanism of censors, the authors successfully developed a procedure for manufacturing nanocarbon metal nanoparticle covered tubes on aluminum support. Moreover, the authors also successfully created an electricity-resistant censors sensitive to NH3 based on nanocarbon metal nanoparticle on aluminum support.
The review board high values the study’s scientific and practical significance with important contributions to the application of nanocarbon tubes in gas sensor devices and awarded it a Credit grade.
