Closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 8th Student Research Contest

On May 19th 2017, Hanoi University of Industry organized the the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the Student Research Contest. Associate Professor - Doctor Pham Van Bong, the Vice Rector, was present at the ceremony Youth Union representatives together with leaders of several departments, instructors, members of the Science Board and students of the university.

At the ceremony, on behalf of Department of Science and Technology, deputy director Nguyen Minh Tan presented the final report on research activities of students in 2016-2017 academic year. The university conferred 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 14 third prizes and 36 consolation prizes.

On behalf of the university’s management board, Associate Professor - Doctor Pham Van Bong congratulated and praised the award winning students and affirmed the practical orientation of the university’s training direction. Students’ research projects therefore should be grounded in practice and respond to practical issues of the country. In the upcoming period, the university will continue supporting all research activities, including those conducted by students.
