Equipment Handover Ceremony of Phoenix Contact Group - Germany to Hanoi University of Industry

On the morning of February 28th, 2019, Phoenix Contact Group - Germany donated automation equipment worth $ 90,000 to Hanoi University of Industry.

Attending the Ceremony, on the side of HaUI, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of the school, members of Board of Management and representatives: Center for Enterprise Partnership, International Cooperation Center, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering. From Phoenix Contact Group, there was the presence of Mr. Klaus Hengsbach - Training Director and representatives of Phoenix Contact’s office in Vietnam.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Klaus Hengsbach said: “With the desire to support training and scientific research for lecturers and students of HaUI, Phoenix Contact Group offers modern automation equipment to HaUI”. According to Mr. Hengsbach, funding for the university is a foundation for the cooperation between HaUI and Phoenix Contact Group in training and researching activities to improve professional capacity and skills for HaUI’s lecturers and students in the field of engineering in general and automation in particular. These devices have been installed at the automation laboratory, worth $ 90,000 USD, approximately 2.1 billion Vietnam dong.

On behalf of HaUI, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy thanked for the concern and support from Phoenix Contact Group and highly appreciated the good relationship between the two sides. Additionally, he committed: "The equipment that Phoenix Contact Group sponsors for HaUI will be used in a practical way in research, study and practice by the teachers and students. Hopefully in the future, the university will have more extensive cooperation and support from Phoenix Contact”.
