Signing a Memorandum of Understanding with O-OKA Corporation, Japan
On the afternoon of February 20th, 2019, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate with O-OKA Corporation, Japan on training and recruiting graduates.

At the meeting, Mr. Seiji Ooka - Managing Director of O-OKA Corporation signed a MOU on training cooperation and recruiting HaUI's graduates in the field of mechanical design and automotive gears manufacturing and some other areas. Accordingly, the two sides will establish bilateral relations to recruit talented engineers to work in Japan. O-OKA Corporation agreed to establish an O-OKA Talented Engineer Club at HaUI. This club will assist students in improving their Japanese skills as well as professional skills and soft skills so that students can become potential engineers to work at manufacturing companies in Japan. After the entrance exam, selected students will be free to join the club. Mr. Seiji Ooka emphasized, O-OKA Corporation will send experienced experts from their factories to provide professional training to the students of the club, and sponsor some necessary equipments serving for the training courses at HaUI.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of HaUI, the two sides will take another step to join high quality training program with the aim of training in line with real needs of Japanese enterprises. He added: creating good job opportunities at domestic and foreign enterprises for graduates is one of the strategic directions of Hanoi University of Industry. Recently, many important and effective projects with trusted partners have been implemented by the University such as JICA, Denso, Mitsubishi etc...
