Hanoi University of Industry meets with delegates from Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical and Vocational College

On the morning of October 24th, the delegation from Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical - Vocational College (VHFTVC) led by Rector Outhay BANNAVONG paid a visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). At the meeting, the leaders of the two universities discussed the Laotian student admission and support at Hanoi University of Industry.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, HaUI received 32 Laotian students studying at the University of whom 19 students were awarded the Government’s Scholarship, accounting for more than 50%. This remarkable outcome is attributed to the high quality training programs, high employment rate among Laotian students after graduating from the university, and the trust reposed on the university by the two governments. Indeed, the training quality of the university is highly valued by not only local students but also international students.

Furthermore, Vietnamese language courses at Hanoi University of Industry for Laotian students are highly appreciated. Laotian students have a good opportunity to study in a modern environment and take part in extracurricular activities for language and culture acquisition and immersion.

With their seven year cooperation, HaUI and VHFTVC expressed their commitments to work together on their cooperative programs and missions assigned by the ministries of education of the two countries.

After the meeting, the delegation from VHFTVC also visited the third campus of Hanoi University of Industry in Ha Nam province.
