Hanoi University of Industry Secures Second Place in the 2024 “Young Consumers in E-Commerce” Competition
With groundbreaking ideas, creativity, and a spirit of unity, the E-Force Guardian team from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) won Second Place at the Final Round of the 2024 “Young Consumers in E-Commerce” Competition.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Headmaster of the School of Economics at HaUI, extended their congratulations to the HaUI team on this outstanding achievement.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the 2024 “Young Consumers in E-Commerce” competition aims to raise consumer awareness, particularly among young consumers, about their rights and responsibilities in e-commerce transactions. It also seeks to enhance their skills and capacity to proactively safeguard their legitimate rights.

At the Final Round, held on the afternoon of December 15, 2024, three teams from Thuongmai University, University of Economics - Technology for Industries, and Hanoi University of Industry competed in three segments: “Identifying Gen Z Consumers,” “Team Collaboration,” and “Gen Z Perspectives.”
Mr. Le Trieu Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Competition Commission under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thu, Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Magazine, presented the Second Prize to the E-Force Guardian team from Hanoi University of Industry.
This year’s competition featured an exciting twist, with teams tackling real-world scenarios on consumer rights protection through a simulated livestream by the renowned streamer PewPew Hoàng Văn Khoa, performed live on the Final Round stage.

The Organizing Committee Presents Awards to the Teams
On the afternoon of December 15, the Final Round of the 2024 “Consumer Rights Law Advocacy” Competition, organized by Vietnam Competition Commission under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, was also held at Hanoi University of Industry. The competition featured a showdown between three teams representing the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the General Department of Market Surveillance, and Selex Motors (Smart Electric Vehicles).

During the competition, teams transformed into advocates, assuming roles such as popular TikTok influencers, community leaders, and business owners, to educate various audiences on consumer protection laws.
The teams demonstrated their ability to craft advocacy ideas, address real-world scenarios, and showcase artistic talents through three segments: “Talent,” “Knowledge,” and “Advocacy Scenarios.”
Advocacy Competition Results:
- First Place: General Department of Market Surveillance
- Second Place: Academy of Journalism and Communication
- Third Place: Selex Motors (Smart Electric Vehicles).
