HaUI showcases numerous technological products at Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024

At the 2024 Vietnam Techconnect and Innovation event (Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) exhibited a variety of cutting-edge technological products, including a solar-powered three-wheeled electric vehicle, a parallel robot utilizing artificial intelligence for scientific research, HDPE and PVC-based ceiling and wall panels enhanced with chrome-tanned leather shavings, as well as essential oils and compressed briquettes made from citrus peels.

Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024, themed "Promoting Innovation – A Driving Force for Rapid and Sustainable Socio-Economic Development," was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Committee of Hanoi. The event, which featured 200 booths and a wide range of activities, took place from September 30 to October 1 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi.

Three products from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (under Hanoi University of Industry) were showcased: a solar-powered three-wheeled electric vehicle, an automatic lens polishing machine using magnetic fluid, and a parallel robot powered by artificial intelligence for scientific research.

Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024 provided an opportunity for both domestic and international organizations and individuals to showcase and introduce new and advanced technologies that have been applied, transferred, or mastered. It also served as a forum to discuss the refinement and effective implementation of new solutions and policies to connect the supply and demand for technology, thereby promoting technological application, innovation, transfer, and development within the science and technology market.

HaUI’s exhibited products included:

1. Automatic lens surface polishing device using magnetic fluid – School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Technology.
2. Parallel robot utilizing artificial intelligence for training and scientific research – School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Technology.
3. Solar-powered three-wheeled electric vehicle – School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Technology.
4. Metal processing tools: drills, end mills, and mold components with titanium-based PVD coating – HaUI Institute of Technology.
5. Various molds and hot stamping/extrusion products – HaUI Institute of Technology.
6. Phu Long Agarwood Incense made from agarwood – HaUI Institute of Technology.
7. A resonant wireless energy transfer model over a distance of 50 cm through low-conductivity environments – Faculty of Electronics.
8. Automatic air monitoring device – Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
9. Non-fired bricks made from phosphorus slag waste – Faculty of Chemical Engineering.
10. Ceiling and wall panels made from recycled PVC and HDPE combined with solid waste – Faculty of Chemical Engineering.
11. Essential oils and smokeless compressed briquettes extracted from citrus peels (a HaUI student startup project).
