Dr. Dang Trong Hop, Dean of the Information Technology Faculty at Hanoi University of Industry, stated: More than 94% of third and fourth-year students found internship positions, received support from businesses, and over 98% of students secured employment after graduation. To train students to meet the skill and expertise requirements of employers, the Information Technology Faculty has enhanced the integration of businesses into the training process, expanding job-seeking opportunities for students.

The Information Technology Job Fair 2023 is an annual event aimed at realizing the goal of 100% employment for students after graduation. At the event, students actively choose positions that match their capabilities, strengths, and majors.

The event is not only attractive to third and fourth-year students but also eagerly anticipated by first and second-year students. This is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with businesses, learn about future employment trends, explore part-time job opportunities, internships, and gain practical experience at companies.

In recent years, businesses have consistently contributed to the training process, helping the department improve and update its training programs to align with the labor market's recruitment needs. They organize field trips, provide real-world experiences at companies, and conduct workshops with experts to grasp new technological trends and innovative thinking for students. This has contributed to enhancing the quality of information technology students, integrating theory into practice, and reducing the need for graduates to undergo additional training.

In recent years, the demand for information technology talent in Vietnam has been on the rise. At the job fair, businesses offered many attractive positions such as software engineers, software testing specialists, software security engineers, application development engineers.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Recruitment Department, Samsung Research and Development Center Vietnam (SRV)

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long from the Recruitment Department of the Samsung Research and Development Center Vietnam (SRV): Businesses cannot wait for fresh graduates to approach work. Recently, Samsung SRV has established programs to engage with students from the second, third, and fourth years. Students have the opportunity to visit and experience the working environment at SRV, participate in various attractive programs such as the STP talent scholarship, recruitment of programming engineers, recruitment of interns, etc.

For third and fourth-year students, Samsung SRV also provides additional training on applied algorithms, involvement in Mini-projects, and offers company salaries ranging from 10-15 million VND per month.

Currently, there are over 300 former students from Hanoi University of Industry working at Samsung SRV. A solid foundation in programming languages, in-depth knowledge of applied algorithm techniques, problem-solving abilities, sharpness, coupled with dynamic creativity and a sense of responsibility, have contributed to enhancing the efficiency and brand of Hanoi University of Industry in the eyes of Samsung recruiters, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long shared.

As one of the strategic partners of the Information Technology Faculty, representing FPT Software Academy, Ms. Luong Vu Thao Phuong from the Recruitment Department shared: Every year, FPT Software welcomes 500-600 first-year and second-year students who visit the company. For final-year students, the attractive income is based on their capabilities, reaching up to 25 million VND per month.
