International Student Culture Exchange Festival at Hanoi University of Industry

A colorful party, a cultural space from many countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Laos, Mozambique, Mongolia, etc. “International Student Culture Exchange Festival " at Hanoi University of Industry held on April 15, 2022 left many impressions and emotions for the attendees.

Attending the festival, there was the presence of delegates: Mr. Phonevilay Sypaseuth - Second Secretary of Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; Ms. Maria Fatima Phumbe – Minister plenipotentiary of Republic of Mozambique; Mr. Tito Lidimba, Second Secretary of Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique; Ms. Tumur Uya Javzandulam, Third Secretary of Embassy of the Republic of Mongolia.

On the side of Hanoi University of Industry, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan - Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of Center for International Cooperation ; Dr. Tran Ngoc Duc – Vice-Principal of School of Foreign Languages - Tourism; Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh - Head of Student Affairs Department, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Director of Center for Communication and Public Relations; Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the Youth Union, lecturers, international students, and Vietnamese students.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of the University affirmed: this is an opportunity for international students and Vietnamese students to exchange and learn about the beauty of culture and cuisine, as well as discover the special features of each nation. This is also an opportunity for international students to learn about Vietnamese culture and express their affection to teachers and friends at Hanoi University of Industry.

The international student cultural exchange festival was taken place with a wide range of fascinating cultural exchange activities such as camping competition, cultural exchange activities, culinary culture space, folk games and special music and dance shows performed by the students.

The Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second, Third and Consolation Prizes to 8 teams participating in the camping competition. The team of international students from the Republic of Mozambique has excellently won the First Prize for the idea of ​​designing, decorating, and introducing a rich cultural and culinary space.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector, and Ms. Maria Fatima Phumbe - Minister plenipotentiary, Republic of Mozambique awarded the First Prize to the student team of the Republic of Mozambique.

Dr. Tran Ngoc Duc, Vice Principal of School of Foreign Languages- Tourism, and Mr. Phonevilay Sypaseuth - Second Secretary of Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic awarded the Second Prizes to the students of the Japanese Language Faculty and Lao student team.

Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of Center for International Cooperation, Mr. Truong Thi Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the Youth Union, and Ms. Tumur Uya Javzandulam, Third Secretary of Embassy of the Republic of Mongolia awarded the Third Prize to Mongolian Student Team and the students of Korean Language Faculty

Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of Center for International Cooperation and Mr. Tito Lidimba - Second Secretary of Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique awarded the Consolation Prize to students of Faculty of English Language and Faculty of Vietnamese language and Culture.

The event is a beautiful and warm memory for foreign students during their studies at Hanoi University of Industry.
