Meeting marks Vietnamese Teachers' Day

On November 20th, Hanoi University of Industry organized a meeting on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. The meeting is to pay tribute to generations of officers and lecturers who have been continuously striving for the development of HaUI.

Attending the meeting, there were HaUI deputies who are teachers, former teachers and former educational managers; members of Board of Management, HaUI Council, departments, faculties, centers and students. Enjoying the warm atmosphere with teachers and students of HaUI, there were also representatives of local councils and partners.

Opening the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Head of Administration Department announced the congratulatory letter of Minister of Industry and Trade. The Minister sent the sentiment of respect and trust to the teachers, which is the belief in a team of dedicated, devoted, responsible, creative and innovative teachers who meet the requirements of quality human resource training in the digital age, contributing more to the ministry and the country.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Management and all officers and employees, students of HaUI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the school congratulated and showed his respect to all former and current teachers, all the officers and employees of the university those who have been making important contributions to the educational career of HaUI.

He affirmed that in the academic year 2018 - 2019, Hanoi University of Industry has made many innovations in university administration, in training and research; successfully completed the academic year and achieved many important results. As a leading prestigious university in Vietnam, HaUI is always trusted and chosen by learners and society. The number of students enrolling in HaUI is increasing year by year. In 2019, more than 63,000 students applied with 103,119 aspirations. All courses are designed according to CDIO standards, meeting the output standard requirements; linking training with businesses, proactively surveying the labor market, grasping the quality needs of human resources in enterprises to have solutions to deploy appropriate training for each major and occupation to meet the requirements of human resources in the 4.0 revolution. There are about 2,000 businesses cooperating with HaUI to receive students for internships and practical experiences. The percentage of students practicing in the enterprise reached over 90%; the percentage of students having jobs after graduation from 6 months to 1 year reaches over 95%, some majors reach 98%.

Expressing faith and hope in a new academic year with more success, Dr Tran Duc Quy emphasizes that each teacher will always be a good example of morality, personality and lifestyle for students. With a good tradition, with qualified staffs and lecturers, Hanoi University of Industry will continue to develop to be worthy of being the leading training institution in applied technology in Vietnam.

On behalf of more than 30 thousand students at the school, Trinh Thuy Trang - a student of Business Management Faculty was moved to express her gratitude to the teachers. She shared emotionally: “within 3 years of studying under the roof of Hanoi University of Industry gave me so much, I would like to express my gratitude, the best and most sincere feelings to the teachers. I believe that each of us will make more and more efforts to study and sharpen skills to achieve the best results.”
