National Mechanics Olympic Contest 2016 Awarding Ceremony

On May 21st 2016, Vietnam Mechanics Association in collaboration with Hanoi Architecture University formally held the awarding ceremony for the 28th National Mechanics Olympic Contest 2016.

This year, 40 contestants from Hanoi University of Industry participated and won 23 awards including 1 team gold medal and 1 individual gold medal on Computing Applications in Mechanery Principles, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals and 17 consolation prizes for individuals on Structural Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Machinery Principles, Machinery Parts, Computing Applications in Machinery Parts. Among these contestants, Do Tam Long was one of the country’ six students receiving Nguyen Van Dao Mechanics Talent Fund.

Dr. Pham Van Bong – HaUI Vice Rector received the transfer flag for the hosting of 29th National Mechanics Contest 2017

At the ceremony, Dr. Pham Van Bong – HaUI Vice-Rector received the transfer flag for the hosting of 29th National Mechanics Contest 2017 from the representative of Hanoi University of Architecture.

The number of teams and contestants has increasingly ascended with valuable achievements for 28 years. A large number of former contestants have now been associate professors, doctors, scientists who have been both engaged in scientific research and dedicated to the seeking and nurturing new talents.
