Opening workshop on Milling Skills Evaluation based on Japanese methods

Within the framework of cooperation program between Vietnam General Directorate of Vocational Training and Japan Vocational Ability Development (JAVADA), workshop on examiner certification and milling skills evaluation level 3 according to Japanese methods has been witnessed from 6th June to 11th June 2016.

On the first two days, Mr. Inagawa Fumio, a Japanese expert, thoroughly explained the criteria to become a certified examiner as well as instructed the process of evaluating and monitoring the tools, equipment and materials before and during the evaluation. 8 candidates to join this workshop are all experienced experts from Hanoi University of Industry, Nam Dinh University of Technology Education, Technology and Technical College and Hanoi College of Electricity and Mechanism. They all completed trainings for examiners and at least once being an examiner beforehand. HaUI candidates are 2 experts, Mr.To Tien Long and Mr.Truong Van Luong. Experts Phan Tien Viet and Hoang Van Nam participated in this workshop to fulfill the requirements for the upcoming examiner certification.

The opening ceremony on Milling skills Evaluation based on Japanese methods

Workshop on Milling Skills Evaluation based on Japanese methods annually takes place at HaUI. In this 4thyear, JAVADA and Vietnam General Directorate of Vocational Training nominated HaUI as the host of the workshop. The opening session was held on the 8th June morning with the presence of experts from JAVADA, Toyota, JICA, Vocational skills evaluation and business relation center, 8 examiners and 11 candidates from businesses and vocational schools.

Right after the opening session, candidates started to do the knowledge tests in 60 minutes. In the afternoon, candidates and students from Japan-Vietnam center had a chance to observe the demo of practice test from expert of Toyota, Mr. Takahata Norimasa.

Practice tests was from 9th June to 10th June 2016 in Milling workshop, Japan and Vietnam center within standardized time of 2 hours. This is a valuable opportunity to assess candidates in applying knowledge obtained from experts of JAVADA previously. The examiners fully implemented welcoming sessions, announced regulations, instructed getting-to-know machine, informed breaking time before the actual test, signals to start and cleaning activities after the tests.
