Semiconductor: A "Career for the Future" with High Salaries and Excellent Benefits

On the afternoon of October 16th, Hanoi University of Industry held a seminar titled "Semiconductor Microchips – Opportunities and Challenges," attracting the participation of numerous experts, lecturers, and students in the fields of electronics and technology. The seminar aimed to discuss the latest trends in the semiconductor industry, explore the opportunities emerging for Vietnam in the context of global technological advancement, and analyze the challenges that the industry faces in order to compete and develop sustainably.

According to workforce demand forecasts, the semiconductor industry will continue to face a severe shortage. Professionals in this field are highly sought after due to attractive job opportunities and substantial income levels. In Vietnam, semiconductor engineering graduates are poised to earn a highly promising starting salary, reaching up to nearly $1,000 per month immediately after graduation.

The Faculty of Electronic Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry has been actively promoting collaborations with leading companies in semiconductor technology to enhance training quality and provide students with learning and hands-on practice opportunities.

The seminar featured experts from top semiconductor companies, offering Electronics students deeper insights into the potential, opportunities, and challenges of training human resources for this high-demand industry.
