Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2020 at HaUI

On July 14th, 2020, the Youth Union and Student Union of Hanoi University of Industry in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion held a Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2020.

The Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2020 with the theme "Rainbow of Kindness" has attracted the participation of more than 1,000 staffs, lecturers and students. 850 units of blood was collected and sent to National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to help the patients in need of blood.

Blood Donation is one of the regular and voluntary activities of HaUI students and staffs, presenting the humanitarian spirit and responsibility of the youth of Hanoi University of Industry to the community.

Student Pham Anh Linh, who donated blood for the first time said: “This is the first time I have participated in a blood donation day. I feel nervous but very excited. I think every drop of blood of our students will greatly contribute to save lives of people. After this time, I will continue to donate in the future to help people in need of blood”.
