Hanoi University of Industry joins hands to support Hanoi fire victims

On the morning of September 19, 2023, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Dong - Vice Rector and Chairman of the Trade Union representing officials and staff of Hanoi University of Industry handed over VND 100 million to the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district in support of victims of the tragic fire at an apartment building in the capital city of Hanoi.

After the mini apartment fire incident on Khuong Ha Street in late September 12 night (Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district), the Party Committee, University Council, Board of Management, Trade Union, Youth Union, and Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry promptly launched and called on all staff and students to join hands with the government, local people and families in distress to overcome the consequences of this enormous loss.
The Youth Union-Student Association of the school also launched the program "Journey to support the victims of the mini apartment fire". After 4 days of launching, HaUI students donated a total of VND 36,677,735 to help the victims' families.
