HaUI welcomes over 1,000 high school students for career exploration and orientation
On April 11-12, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed more than 1,000 teachers, parents, and students from Nguyen Cong Tru High School (Nam Dinh) and Lac Long Quan High School (Soc Son, Hanoi) to visit and explore the campus.

During their visit, the students had the opportunity to witness firsthand the university's state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and modern practice rooms. More importantly, they gained clearer insights into future career pathways, helping them make informed and confident decisions about their academic and professional journeys.
A key highlight of the visit was the strong interest shown in HaUI’s high-quality undergraduate programs delivered in English. Students and parents actively engaged with questions about the curriculum, career prospects after graduation, and opportunities for extracurricular and international exchange activities. This interest reflects a growing aspiration to access globally integrated education and to prepare solid foundations for a successful future.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice-Rector of HaUI, emphasized that the university takes pride in its legacy of spanning three centuries, as well as its team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated educators. These professionals serve not only as teachers but also as mentors and inspirational figures, well-equipped to adapt to modern educational trends both domestically and internationally. HaUI now offers training to over 32,000 learners across multiple levels and fields, with 11 doctoral programs, 14 master's programs, and 62 undergraduate programs, alongside college, transfer, distance learning, and international cooperation initiatives.

According to Dr. Than Thanh Son, Head of the Academic Affairs Department, HaUI currently offers undergraduate programs in ten fields of study, including Engineering Technology, Engineering, Computer Science and IT, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Health, Manufacturing and Processing, Arts, Tourism and Hospitality, Humanities, and Business and Management. These diverse disciplines present exciting opportunities for tech-savvy, creative, and ambitious students eager to explore new knowledge frontiers.
Mr. Dinh Van Chuan, Principal of Nguyen Cong Tru Primary, Secondary and High School (Nam Dinh), shared his appreciation for HaUI’s thoughtful organization and the inspiring educational environment. He noted that the visit opened up a new horizon for students and strengthened the connection between secondary education and higher education.
Mr. Dinh Van Dung, Principal of Lac Long Quan High School (Soc Son, Hanoi), expressed his gratitude and admiration for the university's modern facilities and comprehensive career guidance activities. “HaUI has shown itself to be a forward-thinking, student-centered institution. The exposure to its dynamic learning environment will surely spark new ambitions in the minds of our students,” he said.
