SLT Students Won Second Prize in the 2024 Chinese Talent Contest

On the afternoon of May 25, 2024, the final of the 6th "Chinese Talent" Contest captivated audiences with its theme, "Connecting knowledge, creating the future." This thrilling competition showcased the talents of teams from ten universities across northern Vietnam, with the students from the School of Languages and Tourism (SLT) at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) securing an impressive Second Prize.

The "Chinese Talent" Contest, now in its sixth year, has established itself as a premier platform for university students to demonstrate their proficiency in Chinese language and culture. This year's edition saw participation from ten universities: Thuongmai University, Dai Nam University, University of Business and Technology, Sao Do University, Hung Vuong University, Hanoi Metropolitan University, University of Foreign Languages - Hanoi National University, Phenikaa University, Hanoi University of Education 2, and the School of Languages and Tourism at Hanoi University of Industry.

The SLT team's journey to the final was marked by rigorous preparation and a deep passion for the Chinese language. Their outstanding performance not only highlighted their linguistic skills but also their ability to connect cultural knowledge with future-oriented thinking. The contest involved a series of challenging rounds, including language proficiency tests, cultural knowledge quizzes, and creative presentations, all designed to assess the participants' comprehensive understanding of Chinese.
