On the morning of December 11, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) chaired a meeting with Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan. After competing against 536 top-selected projects from a pool of over 15,000 student research entries nationwide, a student team from the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) achieved the prestigious Second Prize in the 2024 National Science and Technology Awards for Students.

The 15th Student Scientific Research Conference for the 2023–2024 academic year concluded successfully, with 562 research projects conducted by 2,272 students from Hanoi University of Industry. Among these, the project titled “An algorithm for Mobile robot to guide the blind people moving indoors” was highly regarded for its practical application in daily life, its strong humanitarian value, and its service to the community.
