HaUI holds a Conference on Party Ideology and Orientation, a Summary of 2024 Party Work, and Deployment of Tasks for 2025

On January 18, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a conference to thoroughly grasp the Party's guiding ideology and major orientations, as well as the directives of General Secretary To Lam on the "new era - the era of national rise." The event also served to summarize Party-building activities in 2024 and outline the Party-building tasks for the first six months of 2025.

During the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Son, Member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Universities and Colleges Bloc presented the core aspects of the Party's guiding ideology, and General Secretary To Lam’s major orientations on the "new era - the era of national rise". General Secretary To Lam emphasized the importance of national solidarity, technological innovation, and sustainable development in achieving national prosperity. He underscored the necessity of fostering a knowledge-based economy, enhancing international cooperation, and reinforcing the role of the Party in guiding the country toward a strong and independent future.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hong Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council, delivered a report summarizing the Party-building efforts in 2024 and detailing the plan for the first half of 2025. With a strong spirit of solidarity and collective effort in building the Party organization and the university, the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Industry has set a firm resolution to accomplish its political tasks for the first six months of 2025. The focus will be on two key missions: Successfully organizing the Party Congress at all levels and the 8th Party Congress of Hanoi University of Industry for the 2025-2030 term; and Completing the proposal to transition Hanoi University of Industry by finalizing the organizational transformation plan under Decree 99/2019/NĐ-CP, which guides the implementation of the amended Higher Education Law.

Before this, on January 17, 2025, at the Conference on Summarizing Party-Building Work in 2024 and Implementing Tasks for 2025 organized by the Party Committee of the Hanoi Universities and Colleges Bloc, Hanoi University of Industry was recognized as one of the top ten collectives with outstanding achievements in Party-building and political mission execution. The university was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Hanoi Party Committee. This recognition highlights Hanoi University of Industry’s dedication to fostering a strong Party organization and enhancing its role in national education and development.
