Phenikaa University paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry

On November 2nd, a delegation from Phenikaa University paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to exchange experiences regarding the activities of construction, operation, and accreditation of training quality according to ABET standards.

Overview of the working session

In the development strategy, Hanoi University of Industry has set the goal of “achieving international standards in key areas”, especially in the accreditation of training quality.

Accreditation of training quality according to ABET standards is a crucial activity that helps the university elevate its quality and brand to a new height, commensurate with the development potential of the institution and responsive to societal demands in the era of integration. Hanoi University of Industry completed the formal evaluation of five undergraduate programs according to ABET standards last month. Based on the official survey results conducted by ABET accreditation experts, there is an initial affirmation of HaUI's success in approaching the prestigious accreditation standards of the United States.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Bong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry emphasized the importance of quality accreditation according to ABET standards. He added: internationally recognized accredited training programs not only enhance the reputation of our Vietnam's higher education system but also serve as a foundation for Vietnam's education to develop on par with the region and the world.

Hanoi University of Industry has shared and exchanged experiences to support Phenikaa University in achieving results in the accreditation of training quality according to ABET standards. This includes improving training programs, preparing documentation for course components, advising on study guidance, communicating with relevant parties, developing the expertise of faculty members, and encouraging participation in the ABET evaluation process.
