Seminar on reporting the survey results of teacher ability and introducing TOT upgrading model organized

In the morning of 15^th January 2014, HaUI-JICA Project organized the seminar on reporting the survey results of vocational teacher ability of Machining, Electric and Electronics as well as proposing TOT upgrading model.

Representatives from Ministry of Industry and Trading (MOIT), General Department of Vocational Training (GDVT), JICA, lecturers and teachers from TVET institutes, Mr. Tran DucQuy, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and HaUI members participated in the seminar.

On behalf of HaUI board members, Dr. Ha XuanQuang – HaUIVice Rector warmly welcomed distinguish guests and lecturers coming to the seminar. He hoped to receive guidance and opinions from GDVT leader and participants so that the Project could finalize survey report as well as TOT upgrading model.

In the seminar, Project working group members presented three main contents: survey result of teacher ability of Machining, Electric and Electronics from TVET institutes; Introducing TOT upgrading model of Japan; Introducing drafted TOT upgrading model of HaUI-JICA project. GDVT highly appreciated the reported results and gave comments in order that the Project could finalize survey report and orient a suitable TOT upgrading model which could be disseminated at other national TVET institutes.
