A group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Industry applied artificial intelligence (AI) to develop exam cheating detection software with high accuracy. The software is expected to be put into use within the University, and there has been a company specializing in camera research offering to cooperate and develop the project.

Tran Phi Luc is a 21-year-old boy from Vinh Phuc Province, Vice President of the Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry. On September 28, 2021, the Youth Union - Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi city, Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations cooperated with Hanoi University of Industry to present support gifts to international students who are currently staying on HaUI’s campus.

On September 24th, 2021, Deloitte Vietnam, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) incorporated with universities, academies in Hanoi held the Scholarship awarding ceremony “Lighting up your future season 9”.

On May 19, 2021, the Youth Union, Student Union of Hanoi University of Industry held a ceremony and awarded the contest with the theme “HaUI tôi chất - ngành tôi nhất” or "My HaUI and my major are the best".

On April 26, 2021, the Youth Union and Student Union of Hanoi University of Industry in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion held a Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2021.
