HaUI IT Students Eager to Explore the Japanese ICT Market

On September 30, 2024, FPT Software, in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Technology at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), hosted the event "FPT Leader Talk: Journey to Japan".

This event aimed to provide HaUI students with an overview of job opportunities in Japan's thriving ICT sector and equip them with the knowledge needed for their professional journey to Japan. The event brought together more than 200 students from the 17th course of the Faculty of Information Technology.

The "FPT Leader Talk" event was a stepping stone for students interested in pursuing their careers in Japan. With its renowned technological advancements and expanding ICT market, Japan presents a wealth of opportunities for IT graduates. The event's emphasis was on understanding the landscape of the Japanese job market, identifying essential skills, and preparing for potential challenges in this international endeavor.

One of the highlights of the program was the introduction of the "Japanese BrSE" initiative—an intensive training program organized by FPT Software in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Technology at HaUI. This program aims to prepare aspiring IT professionals with both the Japanese language skills and practical technology knowledge needed to work in Japan. By blending language proficiency with a strong foundation in technology, the program creates opportunities for students to establish themselves in Japan's demanding ICT industry.

Dr. Dang Trong Hop, Dean of the Information Technology Faculty at HaUI, emphasized the growing potential of IT students at the university. "The quality of our IT students is continuously improving," he remarked, "and to meet the global demand for ICT talent, our students need to be guided and encouraged to proactively equip themselves with the skills and language capabilities required for future integration into international markets." Dr. Hop also highlighted the importance of these programs in enabling HaUI students to stay ahead in the fast-paced global ICT sector.

During the event, FPT Software awarded 20 full scholarships to students for Japanese language courses, demonstrating their commitment to helping HaUI students prepare for a successful future in Japan. These scholarships serve as a valuable opportunity for young talents who are eager to broaden their horizons and gain cross-cultural experience.

The "FPT Leader Talk" program featured several prominent speakers from FPT Software, who shared valuable insights into the ICT industry, job prospects in Japan, and the company's role in connecting Vietnamese talent with global opportunities. Students were able to interact directly with experts, gaining firsthand advice on developing career strategies tailored to the Japanese market.

With collaborations like this, the Faculty of Information Technology at HaUI aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical requirements of global markets, supporting students in realizing their potential.
