Training soft skills for HaUI freshmen students

With the aim of providing soft skills for K16 and K23 students, a course named "Training soft skills for HaUI freshmen students" was held by Hanoi University of Industry from January 18, 2022, to January 25, 2022.

The training course was jointly developed by Hanoi University of Industry, Vietnam Digital 4.0 Launchpad, University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, and Vietnam Youth Academy. The course consists of 08 topics: Learning and self-study: Learning to learn process, Self-learn and Learn, Relearn, Unlearn; Emotional Intelligence; Behavioral and Relationship Building Skills; Financial Management; Time Management; Personal Brand Positioning; Teamwork and Individual Work; Crisis Management and Work-Life Balance Skills.

The training course was honored to have the presence of Ms. Nhai Tran - a member of Vietnam Digital 4.0 Launchpad; Dr. Luu Manh Kien, Dr. Dao Dieu Linh, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Dung - lecturers of University of Foreign Languages, VNU; Doctor of Psychology Nguyen Huu Long - Vietnam Youth Academy

The course was organized in an online form via Zoom Cloud Meetings and live stream on the fan page of the Department of Student Affairs at https://www.facebook.com/PhongCTHSSV.haui and the Youth Union's at https://www.facebook.com/dtnhsvhaui. This event attracted the participation of thousands of first-year students.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh - Head of Student Affairs Department shared: During the course, assessment tools, report writing, roles of team members, teamwork skills and presentation skills were discussed by all participants. Experts also shared their experiences and gave advice to participants. Soft skills can effectively facilitate knowledge exchange among team members. In addition, students with good soft skills can maximize the capabilities of their studies and enhance the quality of their research products.

According to experts, the training course brought up a lot of useful information for young students who make up the core of HaUI and will help it to achieve its educational mission.
