Ngày 21/12/2011, Trường Đại học Công nghiệp Hà Nội đã tổ chức đánh giá, nghiệm thu cấp cơ sở đề tài nghiên cứu khoa học cấp Bộ năm 2011: "Nghiên cứu thiết kế chế tạo hệ thống đo lực cắt trên máy mài tròn ngoài", chủ nhiệm đề tài TS. Trần Đức Quý.

On 11 November 2011, Mr. Junichi Mori, JICA Expert, provided the basic 5S training for about 120 lecturers and students in HaUI’s 3rd campus in Ha Nam Province. Mr. Mori gave the lecture about basic 5S concepts, why 5S is important, how enterprises applied 5S, and the progresses in HaUI.
On 28 October 2011, HaUI organized the closing ceremony for the second 5S Week. More than 300 people including the board members, heads and vice heads of faculties, centers, and departments together with students took part in the event.
On 24 October, 2011, HaUI opened the second 5S week. In the opening ceremony, Mr. Toshio Tsuruta, Assistant Director, Panasonic Institute of Manufacturing gave a key-note speech on the importance of 3S.
On 14 October, 2011, 15 students of HaUI’s 5S Student Taskforce and 4 lecturers of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering visited 4P Company, a Vietnamese leading supplier of electronic circuit board.
On 14 October, 2011, 15 students and 4 lecturers of the Vietnam Japan Center (VJC) had a study tour to EBA Machinery Corporation. EBA introduced overview of the company as well as required skills and knowledge as a mechanical engineering and technician at their machining department.
