CYCLE Project Kick-off Marks Milestone in International Cybersecurity Collaboration

On January 23 - 24, The kick-off meeting for the Cyber Security Learning: Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity - CYCLE project, heralding a new era of collaboration in the realm of cybersecurity education, was held at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in the field of cyber information security.

The CYCLE project, slated to unfold over 36 months from December 2023 to November 2026, is a testament to multinational collaboration, bringing together nine esteemed institutions and organizations from Greece, Norway, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Notable participants include SQLearn Organization and Piraeus University Research Center from Greece, Norwegian Polytechnic University from Norway, and various prestigious universities from Sri Lanka and Thailand, including the University of Peradeniya, University of Colombo, Suranaree University of Technology, and King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

Vietnam, in particular, is honored to have two prominent participants in the form of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Hanoi University of Industry. Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc expressed his pride in the involvement of Hanoi University of Industry in the CYCLE project, affirming the institution's commitment to adhering to project regulations and ensuring its timely completion.
