Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry
On March 7, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) chaired a meeting with Education Counselor Trinh Dai Vi and First Secretary Vuong Dinh Quan of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam. On the side of Hanoi University of Technology, there was also the presence of Dr. Le Viet Anh, Director of Center for International Cooperation.
Overview of the meeting
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Trinh Dai Vi to visit Hanoi University of Industry. Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc said: To improve training quality, Hanoi University of Industry has been expanding its international cooperation network. In recent years, HaUI has cooperated with many prestigious educational institutions, organizations and research institutes from countries with leading education in the world. China is considered an important and strategic partner in the international cooperation activities of HaUI.
Since 2011, Hanoi University of Industry has built educational cooperation relationships with leading universities in China such as Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Hunan University, Guangxi University of Science and Technology, Guilin University of Technology, etc. Many international cooperation programs have been successfully implemented such as student exchange, 2+2 joint training, professional development training for lecturers …. Especially, Hanoi University of Industry has been a prestigious and reliable destination for Chinese students to attend short-term Vietnamese language training courses as well as undergraduate programs.

Mr. Thuc hopes that HaUI will continue to be trusted and chosen by Chinese students to study and conduct scientific research. In addition, students of Hanoi University of Industry will have many opportunities to study in China in the near future. Thereby, the students participating in the exchange program will have the opportunity to improve their language skills, learn about the culture and people of the two countries Vietnam - China.
Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc also proposed that the Counselor support HaUI to connect with universities and organizations in China to build student and lecturer exchange programs, focus on promoting activities related to language training, culture exchange and technical disciplines.

Education Counselor Trinh Dai Vi shared that cooperation with Vietnam in the field of education is one of the priority strategies that China attaches great importance to. This relationship has become even closer and more meaningful after the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the People's Republic of China. In order to promote cooperation in education, training and scientific research, the Embassy will serve a reliable bridge between Hanoi University of Industry and China's leading universities and institutions in the future. Specifically, the Embassy will support HaUI in promoting and sending Chinese volunteer teachers to teach at Hanoi University of Industry and opening a Chinese language assessment center.
Enhancing cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry and leading Chinese universities and institutions in the future
Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries with close and familiar relations. Strategic cooperation is considered as a bright spot in the good friendship between the two countries; plays an important role in training high quality human resources that can quickly adapt to the international working environment.
