Developing human resources in the Auto Repair and Maintenance Service in Vietnam and Japan

This is the main content in the meeting and agreement signing ceremony between Hanoi University of Industry, GKM Vietnam Company and Toprank Company which took place on February 20, 2023.

Hanoi University of Industry is currently one of the leading technical universities in Vietnam. In particular, Automotive technology is one of the key fields of Hanoi University of Industry. In particular, the number of students from Hanoi University of Industry who are working in this field at FDI enterprises and Japanese enterprises in recent years has increased in both quality and quantity.

Hanoi University of Industry is considered as one of the cradles for training and providing high-quality human resources with good expertise, solid skills, and satisfy the requirements of the labor market.

In order to achieve those results, HaUI is always supported by JICA Vietnam in the projects sponsored by Japanese government.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry delivered a speech at the meeting

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc believes that this agreement will contribute to train high-quality human resources for development of the auto repair and maintenance service in Vietnam and Japan.

Mr. Shinichi Igarashi, General Director of Toprank Co., Ltd. spoke at the meeting

After 23 years of operation in the field of auto repair and maintenance service, Mr. Shinichi Igarashi, General Director of Toprank Co., Ltd. said that human resources are the core factor determining the success of the business. Therefore, Toprank always creates the best conditions for students to study, practice skills, as well as provide job opportunities in Japan. Mr. Shinichi Igarashi hopes that the project will create positive values for students, thereby contributing to the development of businesses and the two countries.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Minh, Chairman of GKM Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that internship programs in Japan will create good conditions for students majoring in Automobile Technology to learn and improve their skills. Well-trained human resources from abroad will create the foundation for the development of Vietnam's auto repair and maintenance service in the future.

Representatives of the three parties sign a cooperation agreement

According to the agreement, Hanoi University of Industry, GKM Vietnam and Toprank Company will jointly train students majoring in automobile technology at Hanoi University of Industry. students will receive additional training in Japanese language, as well as necessary knowledge and skills within a period of 6 months at Hanoi University of Industry, followed by a 10-month practical internship in Japan.

This marks a new milestone in the strong collaboration between the three parties and is truly meaningful on the journey of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
