Hanoi University of Industry welcomes a delegation from Aomori prefectural government, Japan

On December 5th, 2019, a delegation from Aomori prefectural government, Japan paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry. Welcoming the delegation, there were Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector and representatives of Center for International Cooperation, Center for Enterprise partnership and HaUI Institute of Technology.

Overview of the meeting

At the meeting, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector introduced the delegation to the 121-year history of building and developing of Hanoi University of Industry. She emphasized the role of cooperation with Japanese partners in the university's education and training career for years.

Dr. Bui Thi Ngan assessed that the relationship between Vietnam and Japan has been developing in many fields of socio-economic life, including education & training. HaUI has established a cooperative relationship with Japanese universities and enterprises, bringing tremendous benefits to society in general and those who enjoy the fruits of the cooperation. Especially, she stressed the relationship between Hanoi University of Industry and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam since 2000.

On behalf of Aomori prefectural government, Mr. Hanamatsu - Head of the delegation was impressed with the long history of development of Hanoi University of Industry as well as the achievements that the university has achieved. During this visit, the delegation wants to learn about Hanoi University of Industry and propose to build a cooperative relationship with the university on technical exchange related to human resource supply for Aomori Prefecture. Another important content is the proposal for cooperation in Research and Development (R&D) or technology exchange between businesses in Aomori and HaUI.

Dr. Bui Thi Ngan agreed with the proposals of the Aomori delegation. She hopes that the two sides will work together to build and develop cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry and Aomori prefecture.
