HaUI Expands International Cooperation with Indian Partners

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is taking a significant step forward in its international cooperation by forging new partnerships with leading institutions and businesses in India. This strategic move aims to enhance educational quality and academic reputation through collaboration with prominent Indian training institutions and enterprises.

On August 9, 2024, HaUI welcomed a delegation from the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and various Indian partners, including JIS University, Techno India Group/SNU, Ascensive Educare Company, Bright Future Company, and Kingston Institute of Education. The meeting marked a pivotal moment in strengthening international ties and exploring opportunities for collaborative growth.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of HaUI, expressed the university’s enthusiasm for expanding cooperation with Indian partners. He highlighted that this initiative offers a valuable opportunity for HaUI to connect resources, share experiences, and work together with Indian institutions to enhance training quality and conduct scientific research. “Our collaboration with Indian partners will not only contribute to the development of high-quality human resources but also integrate HaUI more deeply into the global academic community,” said Dr. Thuc.

The discussions with the BCCI and Indian partners focused on mutual development in the context of educational globalization. Representatives from JIS University, Techno India Group/SNU, and Kingston Institute of Education, alongside HaUI, agreed to bolster their cooperation and leverage each other's strengths. This partnership is expected to facilitate technological transfer, research collaborations, and educational advancements.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between HaUI and several Indian institutions. Those MoUs mark a significant milestone in establishing and expanding training cooperation across various fields. The agreement specifically emphasizes collaboration in artificial intelligence, information technology, mechanics, automobiles, tourism, and hospitality.
