MoU signing ceremony between LETCO Company and Hung Yen Industrial College

On February 22, 2024, LETCO Company (under Hanoi University of Industry), and Hung Yen Industrial College had a working session and signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in providing opportunities for students to participate in paid internship programs in Japan.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Nguyen Khac Ngoc – Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of Hung Yen Industrial College; Dr. Nguyen Van Thien – Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, Chairman of the Board of Members of LETCO Company; Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung – Director of LETCO Company, along with other staff from both institutions.

In recent times, the two institutions have engaged in various collaborations, contributing to the integration of educational and training activities between them and other universities and colleges under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Dr. Nguyen Van Thien emphasized that in the context of globalizing education, It is necessary to elevate the quality and innovation of training programs. Hanoi University of Industry possesses expertise, and resources in the field of facilitating students for internships, study programs, and work placements abroad, with a particular emphasis on the Japanese market. In this regard, LETCO Company, an enterprise under Hanoi University of Industry, has been fulfilling the role of a bridge in cooperative efforts, connecting students and labor force to the international labor market for over 20 years.

Its scale and quality of training have been highly regarded not only within Hung Yen province but also nationally and internationally. With a commitment to innovation and international integration, Hung Yen Industrial College hopes that the collaboration between the two institutions will be extensively implemented, becoming a comprehensive strategic partner in various fields, especially in the goal of expanding numerous collaborative programs. This includes sharing support for learning resources for students and coordinating assistance in training specialized industries such as Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Technology.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the two institutions agree on the following contents:

1. This program aligns with the functions and missions of both institutions, leveraging the advantages for the benefit of students from Hung Yen College of Industry. Successful implementation of this program will create conditions to promote the annual enrollment activities of Hung Yen Industrial College, addressing the interests of all participating parties. Building on the reliable political foundation, both parties agree to cooperate and coordinate specific tasks.

2. LETCO is the leading entity with the obligation to ensure and fully take responsibility for the legal aspects of all programs. They will select the most suitable programs to implement at Hung Yen Industrial College. All programs will be clearly and specifically communicated regarding the rights and obligations of participants.

3. LETCO Company appoints a representative officer stationed at Hung Yen Industrial College to support the college's staff in implementing the program, capturing and promptly resolving any issues to prevent incidents that may impact the reputation of both parties.

4. Hung Yen Industrial College has designated one office for the representative officer from LETCO Company to work at the college.

5. Hung Yen Industrial College will appoint a representative to regularly communicate with the representative of LETCO to coordinate program activities, ensuring optimal conditions for student participation. The college will provide support to address any issues promptly, avoiding incidents that may affect the reputation of both parties.

6. Hung Yen Industrial College is authorized to use information and images of the collaborative program for communication and promotion purposes.
