The 7th Scientific Conference of Hanoi University of Industry in 2023
The 7th Scientific Conference is regarded as featuring many innovations with 140 full papers, nearly 400 authors, and diverse content across multiple fields.

Science and technology always play a vital role in the socio-economic development of the nation, especially in the era of industrial revolution, digital transformation, and global integration. The 13th Party Congress continues to outline three strategic breakthroughs, among which is the commitment to "Continuing comprehensive development of human resources, science, technology, innovation linked with arousing the aspirations for national development, national pride, self-reliance, and promoting the cultural values of the Vietnamese people." This places a demand for high-quality human resources, scientifically and technologically applied products relevant to the practical aspects of social life, and policies that promote innovation and creativity in science and technology.
In the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong emphasized that science research and technology transfer are always the top priorities of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) in its development process. These activities aim not only to create scientific and technological products for the advancement of the economy and society but also to elevate the quality of education. They contribute to enhancing the position and ranking of higher education institutions. Scientific research will fundamentally and comprehensively transform higher education, hastening the process of deeper and more comprehensive integration of Vietnamese higher education with the world. Hanoi University of Industry will prioritize support, collaboration, and creating the best conditions for professors, lecturers, students, and researchers to complete many important studies, excel in interdisciplinary research, make impressive publications, achieve results with high applicability, and cultivate a research culture that embodies the unique identity of Hanoi University of Industry.
The 7th HaUI Scientific Conference in 2023 is a significant event aimed at commemorating the 125th anniversary of Hanoi University of Industry (1898 - 2023).
The conference is divided into 9 subcommittees, covering a wide range of diverse specialized topics such as Technology, Engineering, Linguistics, Economics, etc. This is a highly encouraging outcome and has clearly demonstrated the credibility and quality of the HaUI Conference.
The 7th HaUI Scientific Conference is identified as one of the important activities aimed at promoting research efforts and enhancing the development of the faculties, lecturers, and scientists.
Some fields have seen a significant number of scientific papers registered for participation, such as Foreign Languages and Tourism (39 papers), Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (15 papers), the Business Management (14 papers), the Textile Technology (12 papers), the Chemical Technology (10 papers). The overall assessment from the expert panels and the reports presented at this year's conference indicates good quality, high feasibility, and potential for further development and research.
