Two training programs of Hanoi University of Industry excellently achieved 5-star rating by UPM

University Performance Metrics - UPM has just announced the star rankings for 33 training programs belonging to universities in Vietnam (30 universities). Brunei (02 universities) and Indonesia (01 university). The training program in Mechanics and Mechatronics of Hanoi University of Industry excellently achieved 5-star.

UPM's star rating is evaluated based on 44 indicators belonging to 7 standard criteria including Strategic Alignment (8 indicators); Teaching and Learning (11 indicators); Research and Innovation (7 indicators); University Ecosystem (5 indicators); Internationalization (4 indicators); Community Service (3 indicators); Program Strength (6 indicators).

The indicators refer to ground evidence that supports clusters for evaluation. The evaluated activity or quality management is assessed against the indicators. Based on this, conclusions can be drawn as to how well the practices, processes and quality management meets the set indicators. They explain what kind of initiative results or quality levels are ideally desired.

The indicator can express attribute, status, level, or changes in the objects examined, thus serving as the basis for measurement. An indicator is a concrete and verifiable description or a figure concerning the desirable properties of activities. As criteria, indicators can be qualitatively or quantitatively measured.

Accordingly, HaUI's Mechatronics Engineering Technology training program was awarded 5 stars, excellently topping the rankings with 797 points: Strategic Alignment, Teaching and Learning, Research and Innovation, Program Strength (5-star); University Ecosystem, Community Service (4-star); Internationalization (2-star).

The Mechanical Engineering Technology program was awarded 5 stars with 760 points

The Mechanical Engineering Technologytraining program was awarded 5 stars, ranked 9th in the ranking with 760 points, of which Research and Innovation, Program Strength (5-star); Strategic Alignment, Teaching and Learning, University Ecosystem, Community Service (4-star); Internationalization (2-star).
