Enhancing Employment Opportunities for Students at Japanese Companies
On the morning of September 19, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, chaired a meeting with representatives from Ishikawa Electric and YK Service Cooperative.
At the meeting, the parties engaged in discussions to explore avenues for expanding collaboration and enhancing employment opportunities in the Japanese market for students at Hanoi Industrial University, particularly those in the fields of Electronics, Mechanics, and Automotive Engineering.
Overview of the meeting
Hanoi University of Industry has achieved significant success in training high-quality human resources that meet the rigorous demands of international markets, especially Japan. HaUI students are highly regarded by Japanese companies for their professional skills, attitudes, work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong indicated that with the objective of internationalizing education and training a global workforce, HaUI prioritizes collaboration with foreign partners, including Japan. Given the numerous cultural similarities with Vietnam and its advanced scientific and technological framework, Japan offers a conducive environment for engineering students to study, work, and develop personally.

Founded in 1988, Ishikawa Electric specializes in electrical and high-voltage equipment, including the installation of electrical connections, wiring systems, and electrical cable conduits, as well as the technical operation of transformers used in large commercial buildings, factories, and office complexes.

He believes that the cooperation between HaUI and the company will yield positive results and create new opportunities for students.

During the meeting, Ms. Tokuda Yuri, Director of YK Service Cooperative (an organization specializing in connecting foreign technical interns with the Japanese market) expressed her desire to collaborate with Hanoi University of Industry to facilitate the placement of the high-quality human resources in Japanese companies, particularly those in the fields of Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, and Electronics.
Hanoi University of Industry, Ishikawa Electric Co., Ltd., and YK Service Cooperative will collaborate to develop a more detailed plan aimed at establishing extensive partnerships in the future
