Signing ceremony of Non-Commercial Software License and maintenance agreement between Hanoi University of Industry and AutoForm Engineering AsiaPacific

AutoForm Engineering AsiaPacific (AutoForm Engineering GmbH in the Asia-Pacific region) has sponsored non-commercial software license of AutoForm software for Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to utilize in research and training.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, has committed that the AutoForm software licenses will be used by HaUI for their intended purpose, ensuring high efficiency in research, teaching, and student learning.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong highly appreciates the support from AutoForm Engineering. He added: AutoForm has provided HaUI with advanced software in the field of sheet metal forming, which can be directly applied to research and the development of mold-related projects. Furthermore, it can gradually be integrated into the training of mold engineering technology at the university, meeting the demands of industry.

According to Mr. Chalermchai Vichittraipop, this is the first time AutoForm Engineering has sponsored full-featured software licenses for a university, and the institution chosen is Hanoi University of Industry. The commercial value of each AutoForm license is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 billion VND. Mr. Chalermchai believe that HaUI will effectively utilize the software in research and training, and he looks forward to strengthening collaborations between the two parties in the future through specific plans and activities such as organizing workshops, conducting research, and publishing scientific papers in the fields of sheet metal forming, mold-making, and related technologies.

According to the cooperation agreement, AutoForm Engineering AsiaPacific will sponsor five AutoForm software licenses for Hanoi University of Industry. The HaUI Institute of Technology is assigned to utilize the software for research purposes, execute scientific and technological tasks, and collaborate in training at HaUI.
