HaUI is a launching pad to motivate students' scientific research

“The movement of students making scientific research at Hanoi University of Industry has strong development steps in recent years. HaUI focuses on creating an academic environment, evoking excitement and passion for students to develop their capacity in scientific research, creating useful ideas, and solutions associated with community service” Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong - Vice Rector of HaUI, emphasized at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of Students Scientific Research taking place on June 28, 2023.

In the academic year 2022 - 2023, Hanoi University of Industry has 443 scientific research projects by students, attracting 1,600 students to participate; of which 31 projects won First prizes, 86 won Second prizes, 99 won Third prizes and 198 projects won Consolation prizes.
According to the Organizing Committee, most of the students' projects and topics are applicable, close to practical needs, and meet training requirements associated with production, transfer and start-up. Some typical topics such as "Research and manufacture environmentally friendly nanocomposite materials based on graphene oxide and nano cellulose", "Research and understand the system to detect the behavior of not wearing a helmet when participating in traffic using artificial intelligence", "Research on the harmonization between Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) with international accounting standards (IAS) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)"...

Speaking at the Ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong emphasized the meaning and role of promoting and nurturing the movement of young scientific research and creativity of students in improving the quality of training, associated with application, transfer, followed up with practical needs in order to serve the community.
