HaUI to award for Doctoral Degrees and Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Science and Technology

On the afternoon of January 25, 2022, Hanoi University of Industry held a ceremony to award the Doctoral Degrees and Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in science and technology activities in the 2016 - 2020 period.

Attending the ceremony, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Party Committee, Board of Directors; Heads and deputy heads of units; President, Vice President of Trade Union; Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union.

Opening the ceremony, Dr. Du Dinh Vien - Director of Center for Postgraduate-Study announced the Decision on recognition of degrees and granting of Doctoral Degrees in engineering to 03 graduates, including Nguyen Van Duc - Deputy Director of HaUI-Foxconn Center for Technical Training, Hoang Xuan Thinh - Deputy Director of Center for Mechanical Engineering and Nguyen Trong Mai - Lecturer at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Tran Duc Quy congratulated, acknowledged and warmly praised the achievements of the new Doctors that were received the degrees today. He said that this was not only the proud results of individual graduates but also the joy, the common honor of their teachers, relatives and families. The Rector also sent his best wishes to all new Doctors and hoped that with their degrees of Ph.D., they would have more prospects in their careers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duc - a new Doctor expressed his deepest thanks to the Board of Management, lecturers, staff of HaUI who supported them in order to achieve the results today. The knowledge and skills which were taught would be valuable for him to be confident and brave in life. In addition, he promised to try his best, follow the good traditions of previous generations to become high-quality human resources and global citizens that useful for society.

With excellent achievements in Science and Technology activities in the 2016 - 2020 period, the Minister of Industry and Trade awarded Certificates of Merit to 02 collectives and 04 individuals of Hanoi University of Industry. The 02 collectives including Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Science and Technology; 04 individuals including Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Bong - Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong - Head of Science and Technology Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Trong Chuong - Deputy Director of HaUI Institute of Technology.
