Impressions from the 2021 HaUI Student Singing Contest final night
The 2021 HaUI Student Singing Contest’s final night took held on May 18, 2022, and was a huge success. A bright, young, and daring music party was delivered to HaUI students by 13 stunning performances, which were intricately and professionally choreographed.

Attending the final night, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hong Quan - Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Vice President of the University's Trade Union; Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the School Union; Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh - Head of Student Affairs Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Center of Communication and Public relations, along with 13 contestants and a large number of staff, lecturers and students within and outside the University cheering.
The jury also had the participation of Meritorious Artist. Tran Tua and singer Yen Linh
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hong Quan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council awarded a special prize to contestant Nguyen Duong Trong Nghia with the song "Bai ca Ha Noi". The elaborately choreographed performance, along with powerful vocals and stage bravery helped Trong Nghia win the top prize of this year's contest.
The 2021 HaUI Student Singing Contest was launched from the beginning of 2021, with nearly 250 contestants registered. The contest took place right at the outbreak of Covid-19, so the finale had not only been held until now, but it was still appealing and elicits a wide range of emotions in the audience. Through the knockout round and preliminary examination, the Organizing Committee selected the 13 best candidates to enter the final round.

The special performances, which were elaborately choreographed in terms of costumes, staging, and a modern and professional sound and light system, created a vibrant show. The jury highly appreciated the quality of the contestants, each performance was youthful, creative and student-like while still showing the love for the homeland and the country.
Dr. Bui Thi Ngan, Vice Rector - Head of the Organizing Committee, and Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Rector congratulated and awarded the First Prize to 02 candidates: Nguyen Thi Thuy with the song "Ho tren nui" and Nguyen Hong Lien with the song "Que huong ba mien"
Assoc.Prof Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Vice President of the University's Trade Union and Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh - Head of Student Affairs Department awarded the Second Prize to 02 candidates: Pham Quang Tu with the song " Ngay chua giong bao" and Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga with the song "Mai dinh lang bien"
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Center of Communication and Public relations and Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the Youth Union awarded the Third Prize to the contestants: Luong Thi Mai with the song "Ho tren nui" , Ha Thi Hanh with the song "Me toi" and Nguyen Thi Huong Giang with the song "Never Enough"
Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Deputy Director of the Center of Communication and Public Relations, Deputy of the Organizing Committee of the contest and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union awarded the Consolation Prize to the contestants: Nguyen Dinh Long, Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Truong Thi Kim Dao, Phung Thi Anh Thu
Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, President of the Student Union and singer Yen Linh awarded the contestant with the best performance style; the contestant with the most effective accompaniment and the contestant with the most suitable costume
Comrade Nguyen Duc Minh - Deputy Organizing Committee of the contest gave a final speech and emphasized: “The 2021 HaUI Student Singing Contest is a vibrant and youthful art display, a place where students could let their passion for singing shine through. The 13 contestants entering today’s finale are all winners, having won themselves by their passion and relentless efforts. Wishing you good health, happiness, and the ability to carry music and lyrics with you throughout your youth.
The 2021 HaUI Student Singing Contest’s final night was a triumph.
