HaUI Multiverse 2024: Welcoming Explorers to the Universe of Knowledge

The “HaUI Multiverse 2024” freshman welcome event, inspired by the concept of the “Multiverse”- a multi-dimensional universe, was organized on November 2 by the Youth Union and the Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry. It provided a vibrant and engaging experience for all participants.

The unique concept of the event served as a gateway for new students to enter a multi-dimensional world where knowledge, experiences, and opportunities for personal development are boundless. The journey of exploring "HaUI Multiverse 2024" unfolded as a thrilling adventure, where new students experienced parallel realities, dimensions of knowledge, and unique pathways leading to personal success.

Ms. Tran Thi Huong Giang expressed her gratitude to the program sponsors: Mr. Dang Hai Cong, Director of Arena English Center, and Ms. Nghiem Thi Phuong, Head of Transaction Office at Woori Bank, Bac Ninh Branch.

Entering university life is akin to stepping into a multi-dimensional universe, where each choice and decision opens up a unique world. The new students are “travelers” in this knowledge “Multiverse,” exploring various fields of study, clubs, relationships, and diverse student-life experiences—each forming parallel dimensions. Every step, every choice, creates a new reality, a unique “universe” filled with vibrant colors, challenges, and distinct opportunities. Freshmen are like seeds sown in the university’s “Multiverse,” with limitless potential to grow, flourish, and create their own “universes.”

Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Linh, a freshman from the Chinese Language Class 2, Cohort 19, and member of the HAC Art Club, shared: "I believe that with the support of 'HaUI Multiverse 2024,' I will embark on a meaningful learning journey and create my own unique, extraordinary "universe."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, and Ms. Tran Thi Huong Giang awarded the first prizes in various competitions: the Knowledge Multiverse contest to Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Tourism Class 2, Cohort 19); the TeamBuilding Multiverse competition to the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism; the Camp Multiverse competition to the School of Economics; and the Flashmob “Synced Steps” contest to the Youth Volunteers team.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh, Head of the Student Affairs Department, and Mr. Do Minh Hien, Secretary of the Youth Union, presented second prizes: Knowledge Multiverse to Dam Nhat Quang (Accounting Class, Cohort 19); TeamBuilding Multiverse to the Youth Volunteers team; Camp Multiverse to the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive, and the Information Technology Faculty; and Flashmob “Synced Steps” to the Information Technology Faculty.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Duong, Vice President of the Student Association, and Ms. Phan Do Thuy Trang, Vice President of the Student Association, awarded third prizes: Knowledge Multiverse to students Nguyen Kim Anh and Khong Thi Yen Chi; TeamBuilding Multiverse to the School of Economics and the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive; Camp Multiverse to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Electronics, and the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism; and Flashmob “Synced Steps” to the School of Economics and the Faculty of Electronics.

HaUI’s freshmen have officially embarked on their journey within a multi-dimensional universe where history blends with modernity, and the stories of past generations inspire the next. Their exciting journey begins with exploring diverse disciplines, embracing advanced technology, and absorbing cultural heritage—creating a challenging and promising path forward.
