Students of Hanoi University of Industry received the AES Future Energy Scholarship
On February 24, five students of Hanoi University of Industry were honored to receive AES Future Energy scholarships.
This is an annual activity that has been held since 2017 and is organized by AES Vietnam and the Center for Education and Development (CED). This year’s Future Energy Scholarship continues to be awarded to 30 students studying in the North from 5 universities, including 5 students from Hanoi University of Industry.
In addition to the financial support of VND14,000,000 per student (VND7,000,000 for a scientific research project) received during the academic year, the scholarship recipients also have the opportunity to take soft skills training courses, learn English with foreign volunteers interning at CED and participate in various community support activities.

“Future Energy Scholarship is also a valuable opportunity for us to meet the scholarship sponsors and participate in training courses to improve soft skills, have the opportunity to gain practical experience at AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. This is a great opportunity to help us have a better perspective on the field we are studying and gain more practical experiences to improve ourselves,” Nga shared.

During the ceremony, the students also had the opportunity to discuss with employers and visit the Mong Duong II Power Plant. They were useful activities to equip students with necessary knowledge and soft skills, especially students of the energy industry.

In recent years, the energy sector has been recognized as an important industry with rapid development pace. To meet this development, in addition to training human resources, researching and developing new technologies is also extremely essential.
