On December 30, 2021, Hanoi University of Industry held a ceremony of Decision to appoint 03 management officials.

Attending the ceremony, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the university; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Party Committee members, Board of Directors, President of Trade Union, Secretary of Youth Union, Secretary of Party cell, Head of units and 03 managerial officials were appointed.

At the ceremony, HaUI Rector Tran Duc Quy handed the decision to appoint Dr. Hoang Ngoc Tue - Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​as Rector of School of Languages ​​and Tourism, under Hanoi University of Industry; appoint Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to hold the position of Head of Personel and Administration Department; appoint Dr. Than Thanh Son - Dean of Faculty of Tourism to hold the position of Head of Academic Affairs Department.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy affirmed: Transforming the university model into a university with 3 to 5 affiliated schools is an important breakthrough goal of the university. In which, restructuring subordinate and affiliated units to optimize resources; effectively apply university governance in accordance with the University's development strategy for the period of 2021 - 2025. The School of Languages ​​and Tourism (under Hanoi University of Industry) was established based on the resources of the two faculties: Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Faculty of Tourism.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy emphasized: The appointment of 3 comrades to the management position shows the trust of the Party Committee, the University's leaders, and employees of the units. This is both an honor and a great responsibility for the three appointed comrades this time.
