Hanoi University of Industry excellently achieved 5-star rating by UPM

The UPM (University Performance Metrics) Innovation Institute has just announced the comparative ranking results for universities. Accordingly, Hanoi University of Industry meets 5-star application-oriented standards.

On October 8, 2023, the UPM Innovation Institute under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations announced the comparative ranking results according to the UPM Standards with 8 standards and 52 criteria. UPM is a ranking system that compares the level of excellence of education quality among more than 100 educational institutions and training programs from 8 countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Brunei, Taiwan and the United States.

Hanoi University of Industry excellently achieved 5-star rating by UPM

The UPM performance evaluation involves 52 indicators across 8 categories: Strategic Governance, Education, Research, Innovation, University Ecosystem, Digital Transformation, Internationalization, and Community Services. The evaluation follows two distinctive orientations: research (R) oriented and applied (A) HEIS in different groups of comprehensive; sciences, engineering and technology (for the abbreviation short - S&ETR and S&ETA, respectively); social sciences (SSR and SSA, respectively).
Accordingly, HaUI was awarded a 5-star rating with 756/1000 points for 5 categories: Strategic Governance, Research, University Ecosystem, Digital Transformation and Community Service.
