Review Conference of the Training Course on Developing Human Resources for the Automobile Repair and Maintenance Service Industry in Vietnam and Japan

On December 27, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong, the Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, presided over the Review Conference of the training course "Developing Human Resources for the Automobile Repair and Maintenance Service Industry in Vietnam and Japan."

The collaborative effort involves three key stakeholders: Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), GKM Vietnam, and Top Rank, with the shared goal of enhancing the skills and knowledge of students specializing in Automotive Technology, preparing them for a successful career in the automotive repair technology industry in both Vietnam and Japan.

The project is a testament to the commitment of these parties to bridge the gap in the automotive sector by providing students with opportunities to bolster their Japanese language proficiency, acquire specialized knowledge, and develop essential soft skills crucial for the industry's growth.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong, recognizing Hanoi University of Industry's proficiency in technical training, particularly in automotive technology, highlighted the institution's substantial contribution to supplying skilled human resources for the automotive industry within Vietnam and abroad. He emphasized that the collaborative program between the university and the two companies marks the initial step in cultivating high-quality human resources for the automobile repair and maintenance service industry in Vietnam and Japan.

Following a rigorous selection process, five students from the Center for Automotive Technology and Driver Training were chosen to participate in project-based training. These students are on track to complete a 10-month internship in Japan, scheduled to conclude in January 2024. Upon returning to Vietnam, they will finalize the program, and the valuable experience gained will position them favorably for potential employment with Japanese businesses.

One of the participating students, Dao Minh Ngoc from the Center for Automotive Technology and Driver Training, shared her transformative experience after six months of intensive study.
