A team of students from the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Hanoi University of Industry has successfully developed biodegradable films to aid in the packaging and preservation of fruits. This project won the First Prize at the 15th Student Scientific Research Conference (Academic Year 2023 – 2024) organized by Hanoi University of Industry.

At the conference on “Taxation and the Digital Economy" held on August 28th, more than 90 experts, scholars, and lecturers from 17 universities in Hanoi and the northern region convened to discuss the challenges related to taxation in the field of e-commerce and electronic invoicing. From these discussions, several solutions were proposed to enhance tax efficiency in the context of the digital economy.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly hosted the 5th International Conference on Research in Management & Technovation (ICRMAT 2024) from August 9-10, 2024. The conference attracted significant attention, with over 600 authors from 62 universities, academies, and enterprises across nine countries, including the UK, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Malaysia, France, Canada, Iran, and Japan.

At the conference for the establishment of the Vietnam-China Vocational Education Community held from August 17 to 20 in China, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, together with representatives from over 80 educational institutions and 20 Chinese enterprises, discussed and proposed numerous solutions to enhance the quality of training, research, and technology transfer to meet the demands of businesses both in China and Chinese companies in Vietnam.

On August 3, 2024, a significant training conference for union officials was held in Ninh Binh. The event was marked by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong - Vice Rector and Chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). In his address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dong emphasized the importance of the University Trade Union and the Department Trade Union in executing several key tasks effectively.

On July 2, 2024, Hanoi University of Industry played host to a scientific conference titled "Physical Science and Approaches to Technology and Engineering" This event brought together a diverse group of scientists, lecturers, and experts both from within and outside the university, all eager to exchange ideas and discuss the integration of Physics knowledge in various technology and engineering disciplines, such as Electricity, Electronics, Mechanical, and Automotive Engineering.

In a dazzling display of bravery, enthusiasm, and talent, the Marketing Journey 2024 competition has showcased the capabilities of young marketers. This event, with its well-invested projects, methodical research, and realistic marketing strategies, brought forth a plethora of unique and creative ideas. The success of this competition once again underscores the necessity of organizing such valuable academic platforms for economics students.

On June 18, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), welcomed representatives from YOTOO Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) China, to discuss a potential collaboration. The meeting underscored a mutual interest in advancing educational and professional opportunities through a proposed Center for Skills Training and Employment Services.
