IT Job Fair 2024 - Bringing 1,000 Job Opportunities to HaUI Students
On November 9, the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) hosted its third annual IT Job Fair. The event attracted fourteen prominent businesses in the IT sector, offering nearly 1,000 job opportunities to students pursuing information technology at the university. More than 1,000 students eagerly attended, hoping to connect with potential employers and explore career opportunities.

Dr. Dang Trong Hop, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at HaUI, shared his excitement about the event’s success. “This is the third year the Job Fair has taken place at the Faculty of Information Technology,” he stated. “It affirms our commitment to providing students with a high-quality education that equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the demands of today’s businesses.” Dr. Hop emphasized that the Job Fair is a crucial part of preparing students for the workforce, ensuring they are competitive candidates in the ever-evolving tech industry.

Among the participating companies was the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, a well-known name in the industry and a consistent presence at HaUI’s IT Job Fair. Mr. Hoang Gia Huy, a representative from the group, highlighted the benefits of participating in the event. “Each year, we are impressed with the caliber of students we meet here,” he remarked. “We’re excited to offer positions that allow them to grow and apply their skills in real-world scenarios.”

The event also provided an invaluable platform for students to explore different career paths, with booths from various companies showcasing roles ranging from software development and network engineering to AI research and cybersecurity. We’ve been learning all these skills in the classroom, and now we get to see how they apply in the industry.”
