Preliminary Survey for the Quality Assessment of Master's and Undergraduate Programs in 2024

On October 22, 2024, the external assessment team from the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City conducted a preliminary survey to assess the quality of 08 training programs at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

The 08 training programs under evaluation include 01 Master's program in Chinese Linguistics and 07 undergraduate programs in the following fields: Investment Economics, Food Technology, Textile Materials Technology, Tourism, Japanese Linguistics, Thermal Engineering Technology, and Industrial Systems Engineering.

The external assessment team comprised experts including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Thuyen – Head of the team; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh – Co-head of the team; Dr. Pham Ngan Giang – Member and Secretary; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thi Minh Trinh – Member and Secretary; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Standing Member and Supervisor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh – Member; M.A. Tran Thi Lan Huong – Member; Ms. Nguyen Bao Van – Technical Secretary.

On behalf of HaUI, the working session was attended by: Dr. Nguyen Van Thien – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong – Vice Rector, along with members of the Evaluation Council, school leaders, faculty representatives, and specialized working groups.

Hanoi University of Industry is making significant efforts to innovate and develop its training programs, with a particular focus on Master's programs. HaUI hopes that through the objective evaluation by external experts, it will gain practical insights to enhance and improve the quality of its programs. In this way, HaUI aims to successfully implement its strategy for sustainable development, in alignment with global educational trends.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh – Co-head of the external assessment team, praised HaUI for its thorough preparation for the survey. HaUI provided all necessary information and evidence, ensuring their compliance with the evaluation requirements. Support measures for the assessment team were also effectively completed, facilitating a smooth evaluation process.

During the working session, the external experts and HaUI's leadership discussed and agreed on the content, methodology, and schedule for the official assessment, which is set to take place from November 5 to November 8, 2024.
